Celebrating Bats & the People Who Protect Them — since 2018

Bat Appreciation Day is an annual, FREE, family-friendly community event hosted by Lubee Bat Conservancy, dedicated to celebrating bats, conservation, and the people who protect them. First launched in 2018, Bat Appreciation Day has grown into a beloved tradition bringing together bat lovers, families, educators, and local partners for a fun and welcoming day centered on education, awareness, and community engagement.

Each year, guests can enjoy opportunities to:

• Learn from bat and bat house experts

• Meet Lubee’s Education Ambassador bats

• Participate in bat-inspired crafts and activities

• Support conservation through local vendors, food, and drinks

• Vendor applications are handled by Blackadder Brewing Company.

 

Bat Appreciation Day is proudly hosted at Blackadder Brewing Company, where Lubee Bat Conservancy serves as the charity partner throughout the month of April. During the month, 10% of draft beer sales from Charity Bingo and Trivia Nights are donated to Lubee, making it even easier to support bat conservation while enjoying a great local space.
