LUBEE COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Lubee’s Outreach Program is all about bats, their habitats, and conservation efforts that are vital to ensuring that future generations continue to support bat and global wildlife conservation efforts.
Lubee Outreach presentations meet a variety of age groups, from pre-K to senior citizens. Presentations are conducted on location at your day care, school, library, church, business, senior living facility, etc. Our Outreach Program will generally consist of a PowerPoint presentation which focuses on age appropriate bat facts, followed by a showing of the Lubee Education Residents!
Note: When bats are present for presentations, they are NOT brought out of their travel enclosures. This is for the safety of our bats and our audience. Bats are easily visible for everyone in attendance to view.
LUBEE AMBAT-SADORS:
The Lubee’s Ambat-sadors include fruit bats and native Florida bats. Ambat-sadors are only available for day presentations within Alachua County and/or within a 30-minute drive from Lubee; whichever comes first. Some exceptions may apply.

Bats will NOT be removed from their travel enclosures. NO EXCEPTIONS.

BATS ARE NEVER TOUCHED OR HANDLED BY GUESTS. NO EXCEPTIONS.

DONATION AMOUNT: $175
Lubee is a small non-profit facility, and we receive little, to no funding assistance. Your donation, supports our Education Program and helps feed the Lubee residents.
- Additional programs on the same date are $75.
TRAVEL:
Lubee is able to travel throughout the greater Gainesville area and Alachua county. Foe outside Alachua county contact info@lubee.org.
Special consideration may apply.
AVAILABILITY & TIME: 12pm - 1:30pm
Presentations are an hour in length and available based on availability. The first program start time is offered at 12pm, with the last offered at 1:30pm. A 3-week notice is required to schedule and it is HIGHLY suggested that you schedule further in advance.

Special consideration may apply for earlier times &/or a evening presentation. NOTE that NO Education Residents will be in attendance.

REQUIREMENTS:
We love sharing our Lubee Ambat-sadors with everyone! We do require a few items to make our travel easier on us and our Outreach a success.
The following will need to be provided:

A projection screen or blank wall for the presentation.

A projector with an HDMI cord. Lubee will bring our laptop.

Available electrical outlets.

One (1) table to set our display on.
-
One (1) table to set the Ambat-sador travel enclosure(s) on.
-
Presentation space must be in a climate controlled, enclosed building.
