About the Event
Join us for this FREE EVENT on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 from 12 - 4pm, and meet some of Lubee's bats and their friends! Take this opportunity to learn more about these misunderstood flighted mammals, including how beneficial they are to our ecosystems. Activities for all ages.
After 4pm, the Lubee bats and friends will head home for dinner. However, stay put and cross your fingers that the bats of the Swamp Head Bat House will grace us all with their emergence.
{They have foiled our plans for the past 3 years.😞😒 Shakes fist at bat house. 😉}
Lubee's staff will be around during this time to answer any of your bat related questions. The emergence will occur near sunset, if the bats are in residence. DON'T be late or you'll miss it!
Swamp Head will be brewing up their Sky Puppies Beer just for this event! $1 from each Sky Puppies draft or can purchase during this event will be donated to Lubee's conservation efforts! #nobatsnobeer
BEER: Swamp Head is once again brewing up Sky Puppies NEIPA to be released at Bats & Brews, where a portion of sales will go towards Lubee Bat Conservancy's conservation efforts.
