Nottingham Forest v Swansea City kick-off time, live stream details and team news

Swansea City will travel to Nottingham Forest in a Championship game that could hugely impact the league table.

Although the Swans don’t have a lot to play for, Russell Martin will be hoping for his side to finish the campaign strong ahead of next season by achieving a top-half-of-the-table finish.

To achieve this, Swansea will want to break an awkward run of four consecutive draws which has seen them tie with Barnsley, Reading, Middlesbrough and Bournemouth. Forest head into the match having just beaten already promoted league leaders Fulham 1-0 thanks to a first half Philip Zinckernagel goal on Tuesday night.

The hosts are already guaranteed a top-six spot but a win for Forest could see Steve Cooper’s side enter the automatic promotion places, with the east Midlands outfit being just three points away from high-flyers Bournemouth.

What’s the latest team news?

Nottingham Forest will likely be without Lewis Grabban after the forward sustained a hamstring injury against Peterborough United. This should not affect Forest too much though as Sam Surridge has stepped up in Grabban’s absence, bagging an assist against the Cottagers in Forest’s last match.

Swansea will be without Ben Cabango who is out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury. Finley Burns could start in Cabango’s absence on Saturday.

Olivier Ntcham is expected to be available, although the Swans will make a late call on Jamie Paterson.

What have the managers said?

Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper: "It's a busy period and fatigue does build up but other teams have the same problem and you just have to manage it as best as you can and you have to focus on the lads that are available.

"The City Ground is a special place on any given home game, regardless of whether it's the first or the last game of the season. It's a real coming together when we're at The City Ground and a sense of belonging which is great and we look forward to being back again this weekend.

"Game in, game out the atmosphere has been incredible and hopefully that will be the case again this weekend. We don't underestimate the honour that it is to play at home and Saturday will be no different.

"We don't want to stand still with that, we've got to continue to play well and work hard and continue to be as together as we can. This league throws up tough tests each and every week and Swansea will be no different."

Swansea City head coach Russell Martin: "We’ve had a few too many draws recently but we’ll learn a huge amount. They’re the draws next season that we need to turn into wins.

"I think we’ll be better off for this run of games. It's a really tough game on Saturday. They’re really starting to believe they can do it, automatically as well. It’s going to take everything we’ve got. It’s our last away game, it’d be really nice to repay our supporters, they’ve been outstanding away from home. The noise, the positivity. It’s been massive for us and the players. Our away form is the best in the league over the last few games."
