For over 18 years the Florida Bat Festival has been celebrating bats, the world’s most famous flying mammal! With incredible activities, vendors, beer garden, & entertainment, and over 5,000 FL residents and visitors attending each year, the Florida Bat Festival is a yearly family friendly fall event loved by many!

Florida Bat Festival Event Details
* When is the 19th Florida Bat Festival? Join us on Saturday, October 21st
* Where is the Florida Bat Festival located at? The Florida Bat Festival is held at Lubee Bat Conservancy at 1309 NW 192nd Ave., Gainesville, FL 32609.
* When do the gates open? Gates will open at 10am.
* What is the admission donation? $5 Ages 5-12 $10 Ages 13 & up FREE for children ages 4 and under $30 Ages 21+ for the Beer Garden Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online.
* Can I visit the Beer Garden during Bat Fest? Any general admission ticket holder of the FL Bat Festival may walk through the beer garden area. ONLY guests 21 and older may purchase & participate in the Beer Garden. Beer Garden tickets are limited. Tickets are $30 at the gate &/or online. Participants must be 21+ years old as of October 21st, 2002.
* Is there parking on site? Is there a parking fee? Parking is in mowed fields on property. Handicap parking is available. There is no parking fee.
* Is the FL Bat Festival handicap accessible? Yes. Please note that Lubee is located on open fields and the ride may get bumpy. Handicap dropoff & pick up is available at the front gate.
* What should I expect during the FL Bat Festival? Our family friendly festival promises to be a fun-filled day! Enjoy games & activities in the Kids Zone, shop from local artisans, visit multiple local food trucks, speak with Lubee's resident Bat Experts while enjoying the WORLDS LARGEST bats, chat with local conservation non-profits, listen to live music, & enjoy unlimited samples in the Beer Garden from Local Florida Breweries (ticket required).
* Does the FL Bat Festival have WiFi? Lubee is located where cellular service is limited and we are not able to provide this service at this time.
* I have special diet concerns. Can I bring my own food? Yes. Lubee will have several food trucks listed in the vendor section below. If none of those options appeal to you, please feel free to bring your special diet needs.
* Are pets allowed during the FL Bat Festival? No. No pets are allowed on Lubee property. Only service dogs are allowed and they are NOT permitted in the bat viewing area.
* Is smoking permitted during the FL Bat Festival? NO. Smoking &/or vaping are NOT allowed on Lubee property. This includes the parking area.
* What should I wear &/or bring to the FL Bat Festival? We suggest comfortable clothes and foot wear based off the weather forecast. We love seeing your favorite bat attire though. 😉🦇😍 We recommend hats, waterbottles, & sunscreen though.

TICKETS ARE LIMITED!
Participants must be 21 years old on or before October 21st, 2002.
NOTE: Beer Garden Tickets are $25 until September 16th, 2023.
On September 17th, 2023 Beer Garden Tickets increase to $30.
Online Beer Garden Tickets sales end on October 14th, 2023.
Limited tickets available.
Beer Garden participants receive a wristband and a 5oz souvenir glass for UNLIMITED beer samples.
Beer Garden ticket includes general festival entry.
