Overnight housing is available at Woods Haven, a 3300 sq. ft. ranch-style house once lived in by Luis Bacardi, for scientists and graduate students who conduct research on bats housed at Lubee, as well as for visitors attending training or education workshops, meetings or retreats. Woods Haven has overnight accommodations available for a maximum of 10 people at any time (5 bedroom/3 bath). Woods Haven also has a large meeting room suite (one main room of 760 sq. ft., plus two smaller breakout rooms) to accommodate workshops, meetings or retreats of up to 50 people with DSL wireless internet access. In addition to bedrooms and meeting rooms, the house has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, indoor unheated swimming pool, tennis courts, and a gas grill. Woods Haven is situated on its own 4-acre tranquil wooded grounds within short walking distance of the main office and primary bat facility.
